Asher Roth, rapper?

Asher Roth appeared in Flint, Mich. on Nov. 19 at The Whiting. Known for the hit song “College,” he may have many fans, but that night the auditorium was pretty empty; it holds around 2,000 people, but only 200 or so showed, a very small crowd for a rap artist.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 3-D

The plot for this movie sounds ridiculous. If you’re not familiar with it, Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs is about a machine that transforms water into food, causing the people on a small island to have food fall from the sky as opposed to water. I guess you could say they were getting gumdrops instead of raindrops, cornflakes rather than snowflakes, candy canes and not hurricanes. Comic heroes hit Michigan

Over 80 original drawings and paintings chronicling the last 100 years in comic books are adorning the walls of The Flint Institute of Arts from now until late April.
The exhibit, “Comics, Heroes and American Visual Culture,” has massive appeal for comic book fans, featuring some of the most important names in comics such as Jack “The King” Kirby, Bernie Wrightson, Will Eisner, Barry Windsor-Smith, and Bill Sienkiewicz.
The art comes from the personal collection of comic aficionado Dan Howard who, for 20 years, gathered original artwork from various artists. In 1999, …
