As a member of the Grand Blanc Community, and High School student I have always found that the speakers that present their oratory to Grand Blanc High School students are usually very impressive. Mr. Lookadoo was an exception to this trend. The level of sentiment afterwards was the equivalent to knowing that something is wrong with a close friend, despite denial. Different and fun is right. How many honeymoons are chock full of zebra, elephants, and wildebeest? Not many. The Corazzas set out each morning on a safari in a Jeep packed with the day’s meals, and they were off.
Each day was filled with new adventures and new experiences. Corazza told of a time when they had to stop and turn the Jeep off for 45 minutes. “We had to sit there while a group of lions decided to just take a nap.”

Relay for Life honors cancer victims, searches for cure
Every year, the American Cancer Society (ACS), honors cancer survivors and cancer victims at the Relay for Life.
“It’s a wonderful organization that raises quite a bit of money for cancer research and prevention,” said team captain, Allyson Stanley.
At the event, teams from different sponsorships have fundraisers to raise money for the ACS, and camp out for a night to raise awareness on the fatal disease. This year, Grand Blanc High School has team of its own. The event will take …

As if our state doesn’t have enough problems. According to recent reports, our shrinking job market and ailing industries are being joined by yet another crisis: feral swine.
Feral swine are what happen when well-behaved domestic hogs escape and get to spend a little time getting back to their roots. In only a few months in the wild, a once tame pig, domesticated within the restraints of the farm or game ranch, can devolve back to a wild state.
